• Experienced instructor Joanne Zipay teaches this ongoing class focused on solid acting techniques that will help you to make the connections that bring your acting work to vibrant life. • In this intermediate level class, each session begins with warmups and exercises in acting technique, followed by intensive coaching of monologues and scenes. • Class sessions will include exercises to connect you physically and vocally with character, language, emotion, and intention – as well as consistent attention to script analysis, leading to positive, active choices. • Develop your imagination, sensory awareness, and visceral connection to objectives, action verbs, emotion and urgency --for engagement of your entire actor’s instrument. • Enter into a supportive environment where you can try new things, stretch, and see your work develop week by week!
