Acting with Technique - Zipay July

Service Description

Register before 6pm July 10th to ensure required enrollment. Class time is 10am to 1pm this month but we'll be starting on the second Saturday, July 11th • Experienced instructor Joanne Zipay teaches this ongoing class focused on solid acting techniques that will help you to make the connections that bring your acting work to vibrant life. • In this intermediate level class, each session begins with warmups and exercises in acting technique, followed by intensive coaching of monologues and scenes. • Class sessions will include exercises to connect you physically and vocally with character, language, emotion, and intention – as well as consistent attention to script analysis, leading to positive, active choices. • Develop your imagination, sensory awareness, and visceral connection to objectives, action verbs, emotion and urgency --for engagement of your entire actor’s instrument. • Enter into a supportive environment where you can try new things, stretch, and see your work develop week by week!
